Braids: Grow your hair with style!..
African American hair has many style options. Long Micro Braids
Will my hair grow if I have braids/extensions?                                                            Yes, your hair will continue to grow no matter what style of braids or extensions you choose. We will teach you how to maintain your style for healthy hair and a healthy scalp.

What can braids do for you...
Hair braiding is one way to style African hair. While it may be time-consuming to do the initial braiding, this attractive style is durable and can last as long as 3 months, depending on the size...

Braid extensions will grow your hair beautifully if not put in too tight, too heavy, and kept moisturized and strengthened.  The hair extensions protects, but also absorb an amount of your hair's natural moisture. We'll show you how to keep your hair in good condition, even in braid extensions.

Your hair must be in good condition before applying extended hair especially if wearing for 2 months at a time.  A great way to grow African-American hair is to put it into braids. Braiding the hair doesn't mean that maintenance is not needed. Once your hair is braided, it is important to wash the braids at least every 2 to 3 weeks. Failing to do so could result in damage to the hair.

Braids for Children:

Braids are a good way to keep a child's hair neat. Once done, the hair requires very little maintenance. Simple braid styles that will not require a lot of time to do are ideal for children.

Choose a braid style that is not complicated, will not be uncomfortable for your child and will not require a lot of time to do. Also choose one that will stay neat for a few days.

What types of braids can you do?

Our services include cornrows, micro braids, individual braids, two stranded twists (natural hair and with added extension hair), natural hair twists, dreadlocks (new and maintenance), sew-in weaves.

Hair Recommended: 100% Kanekalon Fiber hair or. Human hair . Human hair retains more moisture, however you can't do the ends of the braid techniques. Kanekalon hair looks the absolute best for Braid Extensions. 100% synthetic hair does not hold well

Do I need to shampoo my hair before coming in for my appointment?

Yes,  washing your hair before you get it braided is a requirement and recommended.

My hair was braided too tightly, and it's turning red at the root. I'm beginning to notice small pimples. How can this be prevented?

Apply small amounts of aloe vera, sulfur 8 (if your not allergic to sulfur) to the inflamed area.
